Famous Nollywood actor Pope Odonwodo, aka Junior Pope, is reportedly dead. His passing was announced on Wednesday, April 10, by movie producer Sam Olatunji, who stated that the actor died with three others after their boat capsized. They were going to a movie location when the sad incident occurred at Marine Cable Point .
It was reported that a few hours before his demise he posted a video while on board on Instagram where he was saying "I have three children, see the risk we are taking just to entertain you".
Netizens aired their displeasure on the fact that the movie industry needs to do better by providing safety facilities for actors when such scene is required.
