Jnr Pope's Relatives May Incur Costs of N40 Million for His Inland Burial
It's been disclosed that the family of Jnr Pope could face expenses ranging from N30 to N40 million for conducting his burial rituals away from the riverbank.
A Nigerian individual has made it public through a live Instagram broadcast that Jnr Pope's household is expected to shell out between N30 and N40 million in traditional ceremonies to inter him away from the riverside.
He pointed out that this requirement is quite usual for individuals who meet their end near or in a river.
He explicated that in cases where a person is drowned, the spirits of the river lay claim to the deceased. And should the bereaved family opt to lay them to rest in a different location, it would not be without its repercussions.
