BREAKING: Numerous Feared Dead and Wounded as Assailants Strike at Plateau State University

A student desperately escaping the violence has reported via telephone that the assault is in progress.

Currently, armed individuals thought to be herdsmen are wreaking havoc at Plateau State University within the Bokkos Local Government Area.

Amidst fears of numerous fatalities, a student seeking refuge gave the information through a call that the violence was unfolding.

"Chaos reigns as everyone dashes for safety; the sound of gunfire echoes throughout the campus," recounted the student in haste.

Attempts to get a statement from the Plateau State Police Command's spokesperson, DSP Alfred Alabo, were unsuccessful as the call went unanswered at the moment this report was being prepared.
