Palestinian civil defense team found 50 bodies in a mass grave In Gaza Hospital
Two weeks after Israeli forces withdrew, Palestinian civil defense teams found 50 bodies in a mass grave at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, Gaza.
According to a statement released by Gaza's civil defense agency on Saturday, these individuals had been killed by Israeli forces. The agency also noted ongoing efforts to recover more bodies in the area.
The Mehr News Agency reported that Israeli forces had stormed the hospital, killing many who had sought refuge there during heavy bombardments in February. Following a military campaign that started on October 7, 2023, in response to an attack by Hamas, Israeli forces had occupied Khan Yunis since early December, causing widespread displacement and damage.
The conflict has resulted in the deaths of at least 34,049 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, and injuries to 76,901 others.
