Mohbad's Mother Abosede Adeyemo Cries for Help Against Alleged Harassment From Former Spouse and Acquaintances, Seeks Aid From the Governor of Lagos

Abosede Adeyemo, the bereaved mother of the deceased musician, Ilerioluwa Aloba, renowned by his stage name, Mohbad, has voiced her distress to the public concerning continuous harassment she alleges to be facing from Joseph Aloba, her former husband, and a certain London-based reporter, Bukky Jesse, among others.

The distressed mother has levied serious accusations against her harassers, claiming there exists a devious plot aiming at ending her life, alongside that of Mohbad's spouse, Wunmi, and their child, Liam.

In despair, she implores Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and President Bola Tinubu for immediate action to safeguard her own life, her daughter-in-law's, and her grandchild's.

She articulated, "It's become overwhelmingly difficult to ignore the numerous assaults and death threats towards me and my kids. The situation escalated when Bukky Jesse supposedly shared a picture of my house, coupled with threats of persistent surveillance.

Their watchful eyes and intrusion have stripped me of any semblance of peace or free movement since I'm constantly bombarded with their threatening calls. Thus, I've been compelled to call for help in seeking justice for my late son's departed soul and demand protection from the Lagos government against the ongoing threats to our lives.

Even as I grieve my son's loss, I plea, let not they take me and my children's lives too."

In response to her plea, the Justice For Mohbad Movement Group (JMMG) spokesperson, Ibrahim Koleosho, lamented the cruel irony that those who had previously menaced Mohbad's wife and child were extending their bullying to the singer's mother.

Koleosho remarked, "In our committed effort towards achieving justice for the late music talent, it alarms us to learn of a lingering plot to harm Mohbad's mother.

It is a sad day when a bereaving mother and spouse, deserving of empathy and respect, becomes the target for cyberbullying and threats from those purporting to be on the side of justice.

We cannot stand idly by. Our mission remains to seek justice for our beloved late singer whilst offering unwavering support to his grieving family during these trying times.

We're calling upon Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos state governor, and all compassionate Nigerians to protect Mohbad's mother and widow from those threatening their well-being.

It is heart-wrenching to recall that Mohbad himself had once voiced similar fears during his lifetime, which were unfortunately overlooked until his untimely and contentious passing.

Thus, with Mohbad's mother now in distress, we urge law enforcement to thoroughly investigate these death threats and hold those responsible accountable. This is crucial not only for bringing justice for the late artist but also ensuring his family's safety from potential harm."
